Clean up our rivers - Plant trees and hedgerows
Less than 20% of UK rivers are in good health. This leads to flooding and a huge loss of native species, both animals and plants. It’s not too late to restore the ecosystem and habitat diversity, with which Nature has blessed us.
Plant trees and shrubs along the banks to slow water flow and prevent flooding. Halt the invasion of foreign species of animals and vegetation and plant native species. Install silt traps to collect pollutants and pesticides, so salmon and trout can swim in clean water. Unblock tributaries so water can escape into the flood plains. With your help we can do it!
