Choosing a Gift
A Good Gift is a present with purpose. Instead of flowers or chocolates, you buy something that funds a real project — like school fees for a child, a goat for a family, or clean water for a village. Your loved one receives a beautiful card or e-certificate explaining the impact of their gift.
Each gift delivers real support for a real need. For example, a goat can provide milk and income for a family, while clean water helps protect health and transform daily life.
We direct funds to trusted projects of our network of partner charities that deliver it where the need is greatest. This means your gift always has the biggest possible impact.
Any time you want to give something meaningful – birthdays, celebrations, thank yous, or in memory of someone special.
Sending a Gift
Dependent on the item ordered, the gift will be delivered to you or a recipient of your choice as one of the following:
– Gift Card: An A5 card sent by post to you or your chosen recipient, which can be personalised with a message.
– Mini Gift Card: An A7 card sent by post to you or your chosen recipient, with a pre-printed message that cannot be personalised.
– eGift Certificate: A gift certificate sent instantly by email to you or your chosen recipient, as a PDF to print at home or keep digitally.
– Red Cracker / Yellow Cracker: A cracker sent by post (delivered flat) to you or your chosen recipient to assemble at home. Simply insert your gift slip into the cracker.
At checkout, you’ll have the option to add your recipient’s name and a personal message. We’ll print it to include in the Gift Card, Cracker or on the eGift Certificate. Unfortunately, we cannot add a personal message within a Mini Gift Card – but if you would like us to include that on an accompanying message slip, then we will be happy to do so.

Yes. eGift Certificates can be sent anywhere in the world. All other gifts (Gift Card, Mini Gift Card, Cracker) cannot currently be ordered for delivery overseas through the website. This is due to the fluctuating cost of postage. However, we are always keen to help, so if you would like to place an order for delivery overseas, then please do contact us and we will do what we can to try help facilitate it.
We aim to send out the gifts on the day that they ordered, Monday to Friday, if the order is made before 3pm. Any orders received after 3pm on Friday will be sent out on Monday. Posted cards and crackers are sent out by first class post and are usually received within 3–5 working days (though this is dependent on Royal Mail). Delivery times may vary slightly during peak seasons, like Christmas. eGift Certificates are sent instantly.
Yes. eGift Certificates are sent by email straight away, perfect if you’re short on time.
Absolutely. We are currently working on developing a new Corporate Gifts page of our website for tailored packages and branded options. In the meantime, please do contact us and we will be happy to discuss options to facilitate it.
Yes. You can add multiple gifts to your basket, and configure them to be sent out to different people, with different messages, and check out in one go.

What Happens Next
Yes. Your gift directly supports our partner projects, and the item ordered is the item delivered – that is our commitment. We keep costs low and focus on making every donation count. As such we are a small team, but we leverage the reach of our partner charities in order to deliver items ordered globally.
We work with trusted partner charities who know their communities. In many cases, we have been working with these charities for over 20 years, ever since we set up Good Gifts. They make sure support gets to the people who need it most.

If needed, we’ll direct your gift to a similar project, so your support still has the intended impact.
Yes. We share stories and updates so you can see the difference your gift is making. We are continuing to work with our partner charities to develop more impact stories, but you can see a selection of them that we have already prepared in our Case Studies section.

Yes. Good Gifts is run by a registered charity, The Charities Advisory Trust, which is registered with the Charity Commission of England & Wales (registration number: 1040487). We work with carefully selected partner charities to deliver every gift.
We’re a small, dedicated team who believe giving should be simple, meaningful and impactful. We have a board of trustees, and executive team, and we also help run other charitable initiatives such as Knit for Peace. You can learn more about us at https://www.charitiesadvisorytrust.org.uk/.
We focus on ensuring that our partner charities have the resources to deliver the items ordered, while keeping things transparent and efficient. Any surplus generated is reinvested in the charity to further extend our reach and impact.
