Hurricane Maria wiped out the cocoa crop on the Caribbean Island of Dominica. Trees were destroyed leaving the farmers destitute. Dominica’s cocoa is of such high quality because of the climate, but also because of how it is nurtured – lovingly and carefully. It is grown on a small scale – the average farm is just a quarter of an acre with 100 cocoa trees. We have with your help, funded land clearance and prepared saplings. Now it is time to plant new trees.
