Millions of people across sub-Saharan Africa live with limb loss but have little or no access to prosthetic limbs or rehabilitation services. Without mobility support, many amputees are excluded from education, employment, and daily life, creating a devastating cycle of poverty, isolation, and lost independence.

At the same time, thousands of high-quality prosthetic limbs are discarded every year in high-income countries, despite still being usable. Thanks to supporters of Good Gifts, these valuable components are being collected, refurbished, and shipped to rehabilitation centres across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, The Gambia, Senegal, Liberia, and Benin — giving amputees a second chance to stand tall again.

Your gift helps fund not only prosthetic limbs, but also rehabilitation, counselling, training, and community support to ensure amputees can rebuild their confidence and thrive within their communities. By regaining mobility, people are able to return to school, work, family life, and the activities they love most.
