• 🎁 Ongoing annual support for STEM empowerment programme
• 👩‍🎓 Thousands of girls reached across underserved communities
• 💡 Increased participation in STEM, with over 60% pursuing related careers

For many girls growing up in Israel’s socio-geographic periphery, opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) can feel out of reach – not due to lack of ability, but because of social barriers, limited support, and low confidence.

Through Good Gifts, the Girl Power initiative supports programmes designed to change this reality. Combining academic support in mathematics with empowerment workshops and exposure to role models in high-tech and academia, the programme equips girls with both the skills and confidence to succeed.

Rotem Aloni, now 22, took part in the programme as a student. Through the experience, she gained not only academic support, but also the confidence to shape her own future. Today, she has come full circle and now supports others as a mentor.

“I received a rich toolbox. The workshops empowered me and taught me how to express myself. I learned how to navigate social situations, build new friendships, choose academic tracks, and develop self-confidence. Those are the true keys to success.”
– Rotem Aloni, 22

Programmes like this do more than support individual students. They help shift expectations, challenge stereotypes, and open pathways into careers that were once seen as unattainable.

Your gift of Girl Power helps young women build confidence, pursue opportunity, and redefine what their futures can look like.

This gift is made possible through Kol Israel Haverim (KIAH), a leading educational organisation in Israel focused on expanding access to education, enhancing educational excellence and fostering leadership and opportunity for girls across Israel’s periphery.
